Fresh and fruity – fruit chewing gum, honeydew melon, orange and pear drops, with complicating elements of beeswax, lemongrass and chamomile, plus the promise of sweetness: crème brûlée, banoffee pie, white chocolate and foamy bananas.
Sherbet lemons, candied nuts and syrupy pears and peaches.
A dry finish of eucalyptus, tobacco, sweet chilli, cinnamon and cassia bark.
Tasted at the SMWS June 2026 Outturn Preview at Oakland Whiskey Library. The married Oloroso and PX cask approach paid off enormously — complex and layered well beyond what 13 years would suggest. Room standout of the evening.
