Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Whisky Goodness (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be of legal drinking age in your country of residence to use the Service. The Service is for information and personal record-keeping only and does not sell alcohol.

3. Accounts

Member accounts are invite-only and created by signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content & your library

You retain ownership of the content you add (your whiskies, tasting notes, reviews, photos, and profile). By making your library public you grant Whisky Goodness a non-exclusive licence to host and display that content so it can be shown on your public profile and in related discovery features. Your library is private by default; making it public or listed is opt-in, and you can change those settings or delete your content at any time.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don’t post unlawful, infringing, hateful, or deceptive content.
  • Don’t use the Service to advertise or facilitate the sale of alcohol.
  • Don’t scrape, overload, probe, or attempt to break the Service or its security.
  • Don’t impersonate others or misuse another person’s account or invite.

6. Content responsibility & moderation

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you post. We may remove content or accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are harmful.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Tasting notes, ratings, and recommendations are subjective opinions, not professional or purchasing advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Whisky Goodness is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for conduct that violates these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
